This fusion splicer’s mechanical splices typically only have a 0.01dB to 0.02dB loss. The device has an auto-check end-face of fiber function, auto-calculation of the splicing loss and auto-select suitable fusion program. The splicer automatically adjusts to environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity and with its pressure sensors provides constant feedback control to regulate the fusion arc temperature.
