Toronto, Canada – This new active RFID Reader-Gateway, or Hub, available from GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com), is able to collect, filter, and edit data from various kinds of readers and can transmit tag data to a host system via Ethernet, USB, serial port, WLAN and GPRS/GSM. This hub (GAO227005) communicates with specific GAO active RFID tags at a distance of up to 300 feet and can be connected with up to eight read/write modules simultaneously. An internal real-time clock provides accurate time stamps for data from the tags, and an internal memory saves up to 2,000 messages to avoid data loss if network is temporarily unavailable.

GAO’s active RFID Reader Gateway provides the following features:

1. All long-range tags can be read and written.

2. SDK simplifying integrates in customers’ applications.

3. Standard operating system allowing for “stand-alone application” option.

4. Highly affordable
