Fiber Optic Digital Video Transceiver Module from GAO

Toronto, Canada– GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com) has released its Fiber Optic Digital Transceiver Module (GAOGFS116), which is designed to support transmission of four-way video over one optical fiber. This all-digital transceiver module is widely used in closed-circuit TV (CCTV) monitoring systems and intelligent transportation systems.

GAO’s digital video transceiver module uses 10-bit/20MHz sampling technology for video digital encoding. The optical, high-speed synchronous transmission channel ensures the quality of video signal transmission. The hot-plugging design and wide dynamic range provide convenience for installation, maintenance and operation. Additionally, the transceiver ensures proper system operation in complex electromagnetic environments and requires no electrical or optical adjustments in field operations.

In addition, the video transceiver is compatible with NTSC, PAL and SECAM video formats and is available in either stand-alone or rack mount card versions.
