Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Acquires Douglas Equipment Ltd.

Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company announced that it has acquired the assets of Douglas Equipment Ltd. for approximately $20 million in cash. Douglas, a leading supplier of aviation support vehicles, will become part of Curtiss-Wright’s Flow Control Segment.

“We are very pleased to welcome Douglas Equipment to the Curtiss-Wright Flow Control family,” said David Linton, President, Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company and Co-Chief Operating Officer, Curtiss-Wright Corporation. “It provides a significant opportunity to expand our capabilities and grow our aircraft handling systems portfolio. It is another example of bringing our highly engineered products to market that will deliver profound, differentiating value to our customers.”

Founded in 1947, Douglas is a leading supplier of commercial aviation ground support vehicles, including a range of towbarless and conventional aircraft tractors and runway friction measuring devices.
