Themis ComputerThemis Computer—April 6, 20110

FREMONT, California — April 6, 2011 – Themis Computer, today announced the NanoATR Small Form Factor Computer System. Designed to survive in demanding environments, the NanoATR is a compact, mobile standalone rugged computer targeted for OEMs and application providers who develop embedded computing applications for demanding environments. The NanoATR supports a myriad of field applications that include mission computing, payload control, real time control, data recording, small storage and communications systems, mobile robotics.

The NanoATR system has a fully sealed, conduction cooled chassis with two 19 mm and two 12.5 mm payload slots, a storage slot, and a dedicated connector panel-PSU slot in a small, light footprint that optimizes size, weight, power, and cooling. The front panel can be equipped with either circular MIL or standard rectangular connectors.

“Themis is committed to providing the highest-performance computing in the smallest form factors possible, consistent with size, weight, and power constraints. We call this our footprint performance computing initiative,” stated William Kehret, president of Themis Computer. “A wide range of rugged military and commercial field applications require high-performance in a small footprint and the NanoATR readily embraces these challenges.”
