Silicon Valley — March 7, 2012

InnoDisk, a global leader in industrial Flash and DRAM storage solutions, announces its SATADOM storage device which has been qualified by Intel for the new Romley Server Board. InnoDisk’s SATADOMs (D150QV and D150QV-L series) are being selected as the preferred boot device on the SATA port. InnoDisk SATADOM has up to 8 times the performance of normal USB drive (135MB/sec and 116MB/sec Read/Write versus 15MB/sec and 10MB/sec for USB). The D150QV-L’s low profile form-factor makes it the ideal solution for 1U and 2U server applications. InnoDisk SATADOMs, designed with SLC NAND Flash, deliver the highest endurance for various performance demanding and mission critical applications.

Innovative Solutions for Better Performance

InnoDisk’s SATADOM D150QV-L module offers both Standard Grade (0°C~+70°C) and Industrial Grade temperature (-40°C~+85°C), SMART function (monitoring the life-cycle of the product), and Power Pin 7 design. InnoDisk’s SATADOM is currently the smallest Flash storage device with high density of up to 64GB (SLC) capacity. It has cable-less (power pin 7), lower power consumption and small form-factor designs for very low-profile (1U blade server) applications. In addition, users will also have the benefits of customized firmware and controller as well as fixed BOM (Bill of Materials), making SATADOM the best substitute industrial storage solution for HDD, SSD, and USB.

Additional Benefits

InnoDisk SATADOMs are more reliable and durable than traditional HDD and USB, and it uses 80% less power than HDD. Combined its excellent form-factor designs and easy installation (plug & play), make SATADOM the most powerful & energy-efficient storage solution for 1U, 2U server applications.

Why InnoDisk?

InnoDisk has demonstrated its strong capabilities in product design by introducing innovative, customizable solutions, better performances and the highest quality. This is one of the major factors why Intel chose InnoDisk as the preferred storage solution provider. InnoDisk will continue to work with Intel to qualify more products in the future, and at the same time provide the best customer support for your complete satisfaction.
