Bi-Directional Transceivers Announced

Toronto, Canada – GAO Fiber Optics Inc. (www.GAOFiberOptics.com), a leading supplier of optical transceivers, has recently released a new series of selected BIDI transceivers. This array of transceivers is designed to support single fiber bi-directional operation at distances varying from 15km to 40km. These transceivers integrate 1550nm/1310nm or 1550nm/1490nm WDM filters and use single +3.3V or +5V power supply. In addition, RoHS compliant products are available. This family of bi-directional transceivers include Bi-Di 1×9 SC, Bi-Di 2×5 SFF, Bi-Di GBIC, Bi-Di SFP LC and Bi-Di SFP SC.

GAO’s Bi-Directional Transceivers provides the following features:

1. Compliant with Telcordia (Bellcore) GR-468-CORE

2. Eye Safety, Meet Laser Class 1, Compliant with IEC60825-1

3. Isolation >30dB, Cross Talk <-45dB

4. Operating Temperature: -40℃ to 85℃ or 0℃ to 70℃ optional
