Actel Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTL) announced it has established ongoing compliance with both the rigorous SAE/AS9100 Aerospace Certification and the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 quality standards. These milestones demonstrate Actel’s ongoing commitment to management principles and control of product development and operational activities.

The AS9100 standard was developed by Working Group 11 of ISO TC20 and was supported by the International Aerospace Quality Group in order to satisfy internal, government, and regulatory requirements.

The AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards reduce costs and improve reliability by consolidating the quality requirements and quality systems employed by aerospace and avionics suppliers.
