433MHz Active RFID Reader with Ethernet from GAO

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Asset Tracking(www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has released this 433MHz Active RFID Reader with Ethernet (GAO214015). This reader is well designed and detects and decodes RF transmitted signals from the Wavetrend family of tags. It converts interpreted data passed through the Ethernet port into electrical information.

The active RFID reader can be used in stand-alone mode or can be connected by using a network hub. The electrical connection between the host PC and the Ethernet reader is achieved using IEEE 802.3af protocol standard. The reader boasts an embedded Web server, 10/100 MBit Ethernet auto sensing, easy configuration through a Web interface, email capabilities and password protection. It utilizes centralized or distributed PSU topology and conforms to the RF standards required by the internationally accepted regulatory bodies such as FCC, CE and ETSI. In addition, this multi-functional reader has ESD protection function as specified under FCC and CE requirements.
