With dual-core processor technology, EmETX-i945M will easily handle multitasking situations and provide the most powerful computing capability and reliability for customers who are seeking increased computing, lower power consumption and a longer product lifespan. ARBOR’s EmETX-i945M, the high-end ETX CPU module for embedded designs requiring PCI, ISA, SATA and USB 2.0 interfaces, further expands ARBOR’s ETX CPU module product line.
EmETX-i945M delivers superior integrated graphics performance with the Intel 945GME’s Graphics Media Accelerator 950. The GMA 950 graphics core supports dual display, CRT and LVDS. Onboard DDRII SO-DIMM socket has a maximum memory capacity of 2GB. Additionally, EmETX-i945M is equipped with all required interfaces including four PCI slots, ISA slot, two SATAII, four USB 2.0 ports, two serial ports, parallel port, high speed 10/100 Ethernet LAN, ATA, KB/MS, AC97 Audio and Watchdog Timer. EmETX-i945M has all the necessary features and expansion capability in compact dimensions and possesses high-performance data acquisition and control interfaces and advanced graphic capability, which makes it ideal for applications where space is limited but multiple I/O configurations are needed. After the launch of EmETX-i945M, it will be the best solution for transportation, communication, industrial automation, medical, POS/POI, military, defense, gaming, test instrument and a host of other applications.
EmETX-i945M is RoHS compliant and supports many mainstream operation systems, such as Windows 2000/CE and Linux. EmETX-i945M introduces two Serial ATA devices without changing any of the given ETX pins and ensures long-term support for the vast number of embedded application solutions based on those already highly integrated COMs. Adopting ARBOR’s EmETX-i945M ensures long-term support of ETX, and OEM customers do not have to make even the smallest change on existing carrier board designs.
